Jamshedji Jijabhai (15 July 1783 – 14 April 1859) was a prominent Indian businessman and philanthropist.He is best known for his contributions to the development of Bombay (now Mumbai) and his philanthropic activities.
Jejeebhoy was born into a Parsi family in Bombay and began his career as a merchant. He quickly rose to prominence in business, becoming one of the wealthiest individuals in the city.
