World Space Week 4 to 10 October

World Space Week is an annual holiday observed from 4 to 10 October in over 90 nations throughout the world. World Space Week is officially defined as "an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition"

 

04 October - World Animal Day

World Animal Day seeks to raise awareness and improve the living conditions of animals. It aims to educate and promote worldwide welfare movements. World Animal Day was first organized in 1925 in Berlin, Germany by German writer and activist Heinrich Zimmermann. In 1931, Zimmermann proposed to make the day universally recognized at the International Animal Protection Congress in Florence, Italy. The day is observed annually on October 4th.
