Henry VI of England was born on 6 December 1421, and he died on 21 May
1471. His reign was characterized by political turmoil, including the
Wars of the Roses, and his death marked the end of the direct
Lancastrian line in the Wars of the Roses. Henry VI's death occurred
during the Battle of Tewkesbury, a key conflict in the Wars of the
Roses, where the Yorkists, led by Edward IV, emerged victorious.
